Major Events:

Death of Seiki and her illness in general.  Possibly the mermaid story, wherein Reiko makes a mermaid for him in the sand when he's about five; he names it Seiki.  When he takes Atsushi to see it, the tides come in and washed it away.  He makes the connection between this and Seiki's impending death.  Atsushi explains to him that the mermaid just went back out to sea where she belonged, the same as Seiki will go back to the stars where she belongs.

Going to LA to visit brother.  Second summer, started to consider possibilty of liking guys, may have seen brother dating another man. 

First year at Rokkaku:  The Underwear Incident.  Vague and undefined, but helped to put him off fangirls (and girls in general) completely.  I suspect it involved girls sneaking into the locker room and taking off with his clothes.

Newcomers Camp.  Meet Atobe Keisuke there; fooled around with roommate, confirmed that he was gay.

The Drowning Incident.  03.24-25.  Behaved like an idiot in front of Yuuji, got his foot caugth in the undertow and nearly drowned.  Rescued by Yuuji, ended up sharing a bed with him.  [LOG LINK / 3 parts]
